The PECRON 500W Car Charger (DC1242-500) turns your vehicle into a powerful DC charging source for mid-sized and large portable power stations. It's an excellent way to ensure your power station stays charged while you're driving or while the sun isn't shining.
Instead of trickling power through a low-amp cigarette lighter socket, this smart charger connects directly to your 12V or 24V battery and delivers up to 500W through MC4 connectors, the same output connector for most solar panels.

Charge Through Solar Input
On the output side, the PECRON car charger uses MC4 connectors and a fixed 42V DC output (up to 13A). That means your power station “sees” it just like a solar array. If your power station supports a solar input voltage of at least 42V, you can use this charger to refill the battery while you drive, even on cloudy days or at night.
Compared to a typical 12V car socket (often limited to ~10A / 120W), the PECRON car charger can deliver around four times the power, letting you add up to 500Wh of energy per hour of driving, depending on your power station and alternator.
Important: Always confirm your power station’s PV/solar input voltage range. The solar input must safely accept 42V or more.
Smart, Adjustable, and Vehicle-Friendly
The charger connects to your battery with the included input cable and XT90 connector, and features an adjustable starting voltage knob. This lets you set a threshold so the charger only turns on when the engine is running and the battery voltage is high enough. This prevents accidental discharge that could keep your vehicle from starting.
